Keep access points clear to ensure safe and swift exit for others, be mindful of users entering and exiting the sauna and allow room to move in or out.
Remove jewellery and glasses, avoid wearing swimwear with metal fastenings before entering the sauna to limit the risk of burns.
Electronics and other equipment which is at risk of rusting, water damage or heat damage are not permitted inside the sauna. Any use of such equipment inside the sauna is at the sauna user’s own risk.
All sauna users must sit on a clean towel at all times when inside the sauna to minimise the risk of burns, and for the purposes of hygiene.
Glass or metal containers are not permitted inside the sauna and sauna users are required to leave these outside of the sauna.
Do not bring sharp or breakable objects inside the sauna.
Keep well hydrated before sauna use, in between cooling off outside and re-entering the sauna throughout your session.
Strictly no alcohol, drugs or smoking are permitted in the sauna.
The sauna stove can become extremely hot. Do not touch or sit on any part of the stove, stove cage, or rocks other that the door handle on the stove to refuel the stove. Follow the operator’s instructions on how to light the stove and to keep it fuelled.
Add water to the coals in small doses as large amounts can cause excess steam as well as cooling the stove. Be mindful of other users in the sauna and check before doing so. It can lift the temperature considerably; this is not for everyone
The sauna temperature may vary depending on the weather outside. The recommended temperature is between 70 – 90 degrees. If the sauna rises above 100 open vents or the door or even exit allowing to cool.
